The following is what we are calling our "Necessary FAQ." On this page you will find answers to commonly asked questions about our products and services. If you do not find an answer that you are looking for, please feel free to contact us so that we may answer it for you personally.

First, let's start with what we are not selling:

We are not selling or offering any e-cards.

We are not selling traditional 2" x 3" business cards (although we do sell greeting cards for use in business! Read on...).

We are not selling any credit card style gift certificates known as gift cards.

And we are not selling electrical circuitry used in the regulation of electrical current (also known as high voltage cards).

We are, however, selling greeting cards (or G-cards, as we sometimes like to call them). And by greeting cards, we mean the kind you send through the mail or hand deliver with personalized, hand-written notes inside to people you generally like. We know, how last-century! But we believe there's still a place in the world for the greeting card.

We sell our G-cards individually and in bundled sets just like you would buy them in a retail store. (Only by buying them here you save yourself that trip to the store and all that time you'd spend at the store curling back the front of the card to peek at the copy inside.) You can use the navigation to the left browse our greeting cards by category and just roll your cursor over the card to see what copy inside reads.

Our greeting cards are press printed on state-of-the-art digital printing presses and are 5 x 7 inches in size when folded. They are printed on a semi-gloss white cover stock and come with richly colored, color-coordinated envelopes that accent the colors in the card.

Yes. Your satisfaction is our primary goal. If you are not 100% satisfied with our products, you may return them for a full refund. Please see our Return Refund Policy below.

High Voltage Cards wants its customers to be 100% satisfied with the products they purchase through our site. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the product you receive you may return your purchase for a full refund within 45 days from the purchase date. Depending upon the reason for your return, we may refund reasonable shipping costs as well.

If you do receive an order that is less than satisfactory to you, please contact us immediately, so that we may work to rectify the problem.

That is what is known as a digital watermark and is only being used on our website to help protect our images from being borrowed or stolen by others. It will NOT appear on the printed greeting cards you purchase through our site. Our logo does appear on the back of our printed cards, but only the image you see behind the watermark will be printed on the front of your greeting cards.

At this time, the only place you can purchase our cards is through this website. We have chosen this method of distribution because it allow us to offer you a wider variety of greeting cards than we would be able to were we to sell to retailers who would then sell to you. This also allows us to constantly enhance our greeting card line, so that you have more to chose from.

No, unfortunately, at this time, we are not set up to do so. If we find there is interest beyond our borders (send emails if you're interested, please!), we will seriously look into it.

If you are unable to add items to your cart, it is likely that your computer's browser is not accepting "cookies." Our shopping cart software uses cookies to identify your computer in the ordering process (see a detailed explanation of cookies below), and should you wish to order our greeting cards, you will need to change your browser settings to accept cookies. This is done through your browser's preferences window. Your browser's help menu should offer you complete instructions for this fairly easy task.

We accept VISA, Master Card, and American Express.

Shopping online with High Voltage Cards is safe and secure. Our servers use an advanced encryption technology known as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt your credit card numbers and personal information automatically while they are in transit over the Internet, preventing a third party from viewing the information. The information you enter on our Checkout pages is automatically encrypted, using this SSL technology. You can double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https." You may also notice a closed lock at the bottom of your browser info bar, depending on which browser you are using. Your credit card information is used only long enough to process your transaction. For your safety, we do not store customer credit card data on our server.

For further assurance, you can click the "Verified Authorize.Net Merchant" logo in our navigation to the left of our pages. This will link you to the Authorize.Net website which will verify our up to the minute standing as an Authorize.Net merchant.

Yes! For orders of 50 greeting cards or more, we can customize the inside of any of our cards with personalized messages, artwork, and logos. As the run size increases, we can also pass along printing discounts to our customers. So, if you have a special occasion or are a business looking to connect with your customers, please and email us with your inquiry.

We do reserve the right to refuse customization, if we feel it would be offensive or harm our brand.

Generally, greeting card orders will be shipped within 2 - 3 business days.

Most people don't take the time to properly calibrate and maintain their monitors for color, so we cannot guarantee that the hues or brightness will exactly match what you see on your monitor. But we can tell you that we go to great lengths to ensure our greeting cards are printed to the highest color standards. Our goal is to make our printed images come as close as possible to what you would have seen with your own eyes had you been with us when we took the pictures.

One important difference between what you see on our site and what you will get in purchasing our greeting cards is that the "watermark" you see on the card images on our site will NOT appear on the printed greeting cards you get from us. As much as we hate doing it, we place a watermark (a translucent image of our logo) on our card images here on the site to help deter people from using our copyrighted images on their websites. We apologize for the effect this has on our images, but can assure you it does not appear in our printed greeting cards.

We respect your privacy. We do not store your credit card data. We do not disclose your information to any third parties except our credit card processors in order to process your transaction. We will not intentionally share your information with anyone other than High Voltage Cards representatives and our credit card processors unless legally required to do so.

We do not store your credit card information on our server. What information we do maintain on you as a customer is used for the sole purpose of enriching your shopping experience with us. To that end, we may use your account information to help you complete future orders, maintain your order history, and contact you regarding the status of those orders. With your permission, we may also use your account information to contact you about our products and services via our email newsletter or special mailings.

A cookie is a small file that many websites use to help make shopping on-line easier. This information is sent to your browser from our web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. Whenever you login, our server requires that your computer accept cookies. If you do not, you be able to browse our website, but unable to place items into your shopping cart.

We use cookies in order to improve your greeting card shopping experience. When you visit our website, your cookie helps us keep track of your shopping preferences. Once you set up a profile, your cookie enables us to recognize you when you return to our site. It will enable us to automatically access your address information, so you don't have to re-enter it every time you visit our site. It also helps us keep track of your shopping basket. And, if you ask to receive e-mails from us, it helps us deliver them to you.

If you're anything like us you're less than inclined to want to log on to a website, but if you do, you will be able to track the progress of your greeting card orders, check your order history, and save time during the checkout process in the future by auto-completing your billing and shipping address information.

The most important step in securing your privacy is to choose a password that cannot be easily guessed by those with malicious intents. In creating your password, try to use one with a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols. Change your password immediately if you suspect someone has been accessing your account or profile without your permission.
